Whaddap my people, its been a hot minute since I’ve logged into the blogging world. No one tells you that becoming a zero-figure blogger is a lot of work. You have to post on the blog, post on Instagram, promote on Pinterest, connect with similar bloggers, send articles to editors for the rare chance of being published, and pretend to have a fancy camera when you really just use the VSCO app. Oh and this is all in-between taking care of my kids, finishing a degree, and trying to take showers on a regular basis. (I need a nap just after writing this paragraph…or maybe a shower?)
This post isn’t much of anything, just some pictures of life lately, which is mostly track meets. If you follow me on Instagram, you are well aware that my daughter is a budding track star. (Usain Bolt has already called her asking for tips). The past couple of months have been a whirlwind of travel and track meets, but that is just what you do when you’re a v. competitive parent with a v. competitive, and talented daughter. Win-win for all!
I plan to devote an entire blog post on Maddy’s running since I am just so proud of her and some other parents have asked me about getting their own children into competitive sports at a young age. For now, I’m just gonna throw some pictures up here and see what happens.
Sidenote before I go: I have been struggling with Bloggers Block so if you have any suggestions or requests for blog post please leave them in the comments! Or page me.
Pics are from July 4th in Ogunquit, a track meet in NYC, and a few rando’s I had lying around.
Thanks for checking in!
